There are so many different professions out there, that you're bound to feel slightly overawed by the possibilities. And it all seems like such a long way away, but believe this: 3 years flies by so quickly and before you even realise it you'll be in the job market.
That doesn't mean you can't have fun whilst you're at university or that you should start applying for jobs now, you just need to bear in mind what kind of things you will be looking for.
Here are a few questions which might help.
What subjects do you do best in at school?
Which do you most enjoy and why?
Would you rather work indoors or outdoors?
Would you rather work with people in a team or alone?
How much do you want to earn?
Based on your answers, you should at least find out what you DON'T want to do, which can be just as important.
You could also try to evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses, which could help you find the right course for you, as well as point you in the right career direction.
