. . . Social Life - drugs
Drugs

It's likely that during your time as a student you will encounter drugs and people who take them, for some of you this may be the first time. And for those of you who have no interest in illegal drugs but find you can't get through an evening without a trip to the bar, you might be interested to know that yes, alcohol is a drug. It's the biggest killer of the lot.

Whether or not you believe it is your inalienable right to put what you like into your body, if you take illegal drugs there are three salient points to remember:

You can end up in prison.

You can end up permanently damaging your physical and mental health.

You can end up dead.

None of this will enhance your student life.

If you don't want to take drugs, just walk away. Never let peer pressure play a part in such an important decision. If you have decided for yourself to take drugs, then at least arm yourself with as much information as possible, learn some self-control and look after your mates.
