Managing Stress
Sweaty, panic-stricken, charisma bypass? We can't assure that you won't be palpitation free but here are a few ways you can lessen the likelihood:
Prepare well for the exam and boost your confidence level.
Have a sense of humour at all times. Anything that will make you laugh will help you relax so get out those prepubescent photos, re-watch the Simpsons, or whatever brings a smile to your face.
Work out the exam day routine the night before - what you'll wear, how long it will take to get there, how you'll get there. Have a plan of action.
Positive thinking. You are wonderful, incredible and amazing. You got on to this degree because you are fantastic and you are going to pass this exam with flying colours.
Healthy eating. Small amounts of food will help to keep your blood sugar levels on an even keel. If you eat fewer, larger meals you are more likely to want to go to sleep immediately after eating.
Vitamins can help your general health. Vitamin B complex is good for your nervous system.
Fruit and vegetables boosts your immune system and helps you to avoid getting run down and ill.
Alcohol lessens your likelihood of sleeping well.
Exercise keeps you healthy, increases your stamina and helps you get rid of stresses and worries. As well as traditional exercise such as cycling, running, footie or swimming why not try yoga or tai chi.
